Pirkko’s workshop is adjacent to a homey log cabin in a poplar forest near Boyle. Chattering chickadees, warm wood and bright colours greet the visitor to this rural studio. A large Swedish floor loom with string heddles dominates the main room, and bins and baskets overflowing with yarn and weaving tools line the walls.
